Seating Policy

Many of our tables are reserved for walk-ins throughout the evening, which are seated by our hosts on a first-come, first-served basis. Comal takes limited reservations for both indoor and outdoor tables up to 30 days in advance for parties of 1-7 people on OpenTable for our first seating at 5:30, 5:45, and 6pm each night. We also offer limited reservations later in the evening.

Space is often available in our beer garden area for walk-in guests who are waiting to be seated for dinner. Please note that we only seat complete parties.

We ask all of our guests to respect the 1.5-hour reservation time allowed for each table of 2-4 guests and 2 hours for each table of 5-8 guests.

Please note that Comal charges a 20% service charge on all checks in lieu of tips. Please view our Service Charge FAQ for more information.
