“While the Mexican food served here is some of the best in the Bay Area and the warehouse-sized space is impressive, it’s the noise that created the buzz. Owner John Paluska was the longtime manager of the rock band Phish, and he took heed of one of diners’ major complaints and brought in Myer Sound to orchestrate the decibel level, making the entire warehouse space feel like one big noise-canceling headphone. It has helped spark an awareness among other restaurants that they need to consider noise abatement in designs.”
