New Year’s Eve

On New Year’s Eve, Comal will offer a regular dinner service with some special dishes that chef Matt has twisted up just for the occasion, including Tempura-fried wild shrimp tacos with cabbage-nori slaw, Tequila-cured salmon with endive, avocado and radish and possibly some other surprises.

We’ll be open on NYE until 10pm – think of us as a casual spot to come for your pre-NYE warm-up, whether for dinner or just drinks on the patio.

Comal Next Door will be open for regular business on both NYE and New Year’s Day, including delivery by Caviar.

Need a last-minute solution for your holiday gathering at home or in the office? Comal Catering is a great option. The catering menu is comprised of popular dishes from both Comal Next Door and Comal and is designed to satisfy a variety of palates.

Our most popular options are our Burrito Bowl Kits and Taco Bars and no catering order would be complete without our guacamole, chips & salsas, some of our housemade agua fresca and Matt’s chocolate chunk cookies.

Orders can be picked up at Comal Next Door or delivered to your home or office. We have everything you need to make it a “turn-key” event, from compostable plates, bowls and utensils to napkins, cups and serving utensils.
